There is provided an electronic device capable of displaying animation moving in different ways according to the internal setting state and eliminating the memory capacity oppression caused by the information required for realizing the animation. When a shutter button (12) is pressed in the help display mode, the flush ON/OFF setting information (52) held in an EEPROM (25) is referenced. If the value is flush ON, a 3-dimensional animation moving to emit a flush (104) of a 3-dimensional model (71) is created according to 3-dimensional model data. If the value is flush OFF, a 3-dimensional animation not emitting the flush (104) of the 3-dimensional model (71) is displayed. Thus, a user can visually and intuitionally grasp the difference of the operation of the digital camera (100) according to the difference of the system setting states.
