Abstract:
According to various embodiments, an electronic device comprises: a battery; a multi-coil circuit including a first coil and a second coil; a magnetic field control circuit electrically connected to the multi-coil circuit; a power management module electrically connected to the battery and the magnetic field control circuit; and a processor electrically connected to the multi-coil circuit, the magnetic field control circuit, and the power management module, wherein the processor may: when detecting an external electronic device to receive wireless power, control the magnetic field control circuit to transmit, to the external electronic device via the first coil, power having a first characteristic; when transmitting the power having the first characteristic, control the magnetic field control circuit to maintain a first transmission via the first coil on the basis of a threshold operation frequency within a specified frequency range and a first operation frequency, or when transmitting the power having the first characteristic, adjust an operation voltage on the basis of the first operation frequency and the threshold operation frequency; and control the magnetic field control circuit to transmit power having a second characteristic via the first coil and the second coil on the basis of a first frequency changed in correspondence to the adjusted operation voltage. Other embodiments may be possible.
