According to an embodiment, an electronic device comprises: a memory; a first processor connected to the memory and controlling the electronic device in a rich execution environment (REE); and a second processor connected to the memory and controlling the electronic device in a trusted execution environment (TEE). The first processor in the REE may transmit, to the second processor in the TEE, a request to generate a block including verification data for a data chunk. The second processor may generate the verification data for the data chunk by using key information of the electronic device, perform signing on the verification data, and transmit, to an external electronic device, the block including the signed verification data.
