Abstract:
Disclosed is an electronic device for a vehicle according to one embodiment, comprising: a mobile communication module that transmits and/or receives data through a base station according to a first communication method based on a first frequency band or a second communication method based on a second frequency band; and a control module that controls an operation of the mobile communication module, wherein the control module: determines whether there is a possibility of blocking communication for the first communication method while data is being transmitted and received according to the first communication method through the mobile communication module; and when it is determined that there is a possibility of blocking communication, switches the first communication method to the second communication method to transmit and/or receive data, and the first frequency band is higher than the second frequency band.
