Abstract:
This electronic device may include a first communication circuit configured to perform first cellular communication with a first cellular network, a second communication circuit configured to perform second cellular communication with a second cellular network, and at least one processor operatively connected to the first communication circuit and the second communication circuit. The processor may perform a series of operations for connecting to the first cellular network and the second cellular network through the first communication circuit and the second communication circuit, determining a network to be disconnected, from among the first cellular network and the second cellular network, on the basis of whether at least one condition is satisfied among a first condition related to the surface heating temperature of the electronic device, a second condition related to the number of layers received through the first cellular communication and the number of layers received through the second cellular communication, and a third condition related to the magnitude of transmission power of the first communication circuit and the second communication circuit, transmitting a signal for releasing communication connection to the network determined from among the first cellular network and the second cellular network, and disconnecting from the determined network on the basis of a response signal to the release signal.
