Abstract:
An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present disclosure comprises: a communication module for supporting UWB communication; and at least one processor connected to the communication module. The at least one processor may: receive, through the communication module, a ranging request message transmitted by a first external electronic device to a second external electronic device; identify a first time when the ranging request message was received; receive, through the communication module, a ranging response message transmitted by the second external electronic device to the first external electronic device in response to the ranging request message; identify a second time at which the ranging response message was received; and determine location information of the electronic device on the basis of the first time and the second time.
