Abstract:
An electronic device according to an embodiment may comprise a memory including instructions and a processor which is electrically connected to the memory and executes the instructions, wherein when the instructions are executed by the processor, the processor: generates an automatic speech recognition (ASR) language model including information on a plurality of candidate transliterations for text which can be variously uttered, on the basis of a user context which means a situation of a user, a basic language model, and a customized language model; and updates the customized language model in response to a case in which utterance of the user matches one of the plurality of candidate transliterations. Other embodiments may be possible.
