Abstract:
An electronic device according to various embodiments comprises: a memory; and a processor operatively connected to the memory, wherein the processor may be configured to: in a download mode, record in the memory a software binary received from an external device; and when the download mode is ended, perform booting in a normal mode using a boot loader when a predetermined software binary is present among software binaries recorded in the memory, and perform booting in a recovery mode using the boot loader when the predetermined software binary is not present. In addition, various other embodiments are possible.
