Abstract:
According to an example, an electronic device comprises at least one sensor, a memory, and a processor. The processor is configured to acquire first information relating to a first walking pattern of a user of the electronic device and second information relating to a walking environment of the user. The processor is configured to identify a first value indicating a difference between the first walking pattern and a reference walking pattern on the basis of the first information and third information relating to the reference walking pattern, the third information being included in the memory. The processor is configured to identify a second value indicating a difference between the first walking pattern and a second walking pattern. The processor is configured to identify a threshold value related to fall detection on the basis of the first value, the second value, and the second information. The processor is configured to execute a function for the fall detection.
