Abstract:
Disclosed is an electronic device comprising: a memory for storing instructions; and a processor electrically connected to the memory, wherein the instructions, when executed, cause the processor to: execute a hovering input mode on the basis of whether a display and a user's finger are within a threshold distance; display selectable options corresponding to the position of the user's finger on the display; select, when a gesture performed by the user's two different fingers is recognized, one of the selectable options on the basis of the finger position of the gesture; and display the selected option through the display. Various other embodiments inferred from the specification are also possible.
