Abstract:
According to embodiments, a method performed by means of a distributed unit (DU) may comprise the operation of transmitting a control plane (C-plane) message containing control information, and then generating a user plane (U-plane) message, which is composed of modulation compression information and a section and includes modulated and compressed data. The method may comprise the operation of transmitting the U-plane message to a radio unit (RU) through a fronthaul interface. The modulation compression information can include a flag for indicating whether a constellation has shifted, and scale information for indicating a scaler value.
