Abstract:
An electronic device according to various embodiments comprises: a wireless communication circuit comprising a plurality of RF modules; a memory for storing a plurality of reference values for separating a plurality of areas in a cell to which the electronic device belongs; and a processor. The processor may be configured to: determine at least one RF module, from among the plurality of RF modules, for monitoring a second broadcasting signal transmitted from a base station, and the monitoring period, on the basis of a first broadcasting signal received from the base station in the cell and at least one from among the plurality of reference values stored in the memory; and monitor using the at least one determined RF module in accordance with the determined period. Various other embodiments are possible.
