Abstract:
An electronic device according to one embodiment may comprise: a main processor configured to request an auxiliary processor to sense biometric data; the auxiliary processor configured to provide, to a selected sensor module, an external clock signal generated by means of pulse width modulation (PWM) from a reference clock signal, on the basis of a frequency range required by the sensor module selected for sensing biometric data; and the sensor module configured to block an internal clock signal generated from an internal oscillator in response to receiving the external clock signal from the auxiliary processor, and divide the external clock signal received from the auxiliary processor, thereby sampling a biometric signal in a sampling frequency of the generated signal.
