Abstract:
Disclosed are an electronic device and a monitoring method therefor. The electronic device comprises a main camera and an auxiliary camera that are electrically connected to a processor, respectively. The method comprises: when an application program associated with an auxiliary camera is started, starting the auxiliary camera to work in a first mode, so as to collect first facial information; when the first facial information comprises a plurality of human faces, switching the working mode of the auxiliary camera to a second mode; and when the first facial information comprises zero or one human face, the auxiliary camera working in the first mode.
