Abstract:
According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, an electronic device (101) comprises: at least one antenna (240); a radio frequency (RF) circuit (250) including at least one antenna tuning circuit (230) connected to the at least one antenna; and at least one processor (120) operatively connected to the RF circuit. The at least one processor is configured to identify whether a preset maximum value of transmission power is greater than or equal to threshold transmission power. The at least one processor is further configured to, on the basis of the preset maximum value of transmission power being greater than or equal to the threshold transmission power, apply a first set value and a second set value to measure a first reflection coefficient and a second reflection coefficient of the at least one antenna tuning circuit toward the at least one antenna. The at least one processor is further configured to, on the basis of the first reflection coefficient when the first set value is applied and the second reflection coefficient when the second set value is applied, identify whether a set condition for back-off is satisfied. The at least one processor is further configured to, on the basis of the set condition being satisfied, back off the preset maximum value of transmission power. Other embodiments are possible.
