Abstract:
An electronic device may comprise: at least one communication processor; at least one radio frequency integrated circuit (RFIC) configured to provide a radio frequency (RF) signal on the basis of a signal from the at least one communication processor; and a first RF circuit and a second RF circuit each configured to process and provide the RF signal. The at least one communication processor may be configured to: control, in an over-heated state, at least a part of the electronic device such that the first RF circuit processes at least one first RF signal provided from the RFIC; identify that a total amount of time during which the first RF circuit has processed the at least one first RF signal is equal to or longer than a designated period; and on the basis that a total amount of time during which the first RF circuit has processed the at least one first RF signal is equal to or longer than the designated period, stop using the first RF circuit, and control at least a part of the electronic device such that the second RF circuit processes at least one second RF signal provided from the RFIC. Various other embodiments are possible.
