Abstract:
The present application relates to the field of computer systems, and specifically relates to an electronic device and a photographing method thereof, and a medium. The photographing method comprises: a first application generating a photographing instruction, wherein the photographing instruction comprises a first photographing control instruction; a camera control module acquiring the first photographing control instruction from the first application by means of a preset transmission channel, wherein the preset transmission channel is used for being connected to the camera control module and the first application; the camera control module calling a photographing algorithm corresponding to the first photographing control instruction, so as to control a camera of an electronic device to complete photographing, wherein the first application is located in an application layer of a software system of the electronic device, and the camera control module is located in a hardware abstraction layer of the software system. By means of the photographing method provided in the present application, a camera control module can call a photographing algorithm in a timely manner according to a first photographing control instruction, so as to complete photographing. The response time between a camera application of an electronic device and a camera of the electronic device is shortened, thereby improving the photographing experience of a user.
