Abstract:
An electronic device, according to one embodiment, comprises: a first mic disposed on the left-side front surface of the electronic device so as to collect sound of a first input channel; a second mic disposed on the left-side rear surface of the electronic device so as to collect sound of a second input channel; a third mic disposed on the right-side front surface of the electronic device so as to collect sound of a third input channel; a fourth mic disposed on the right-side rear surface of the electronic device so as to collect sound of a fourth input channel; and a processor, wherein the processor pre-processes the sound of the first input channel, the sound of the second input channel, the sound of the third input channel, and the sound of the fourth input channel, and may operate in a first mode or a second mode, the first mode being for recording immersive audio on the basis of the pre-processed sound of the first input channel, the pre-processed sound of the second input channel, the pre-processed sound of the third input channel, and the pre-processed sound of the fourth input channel, and the second mode being for collecting sound in a specified direction by using beamforming on the basis of the pre-processed sound of the first input channel, the sound of the second input channel, the sound of the third input channel, and the sound of the fourth input channel. Other embodiments are possible.
