Abstract:
An electronic device is disclosed. The present electronic device comprises a communication interface, a memory in which information on locations of multiple external devices in a place is stored, and a processor, wherein the processor: receives sensing data obtained by means of a sensor for sensing a user from an external device including the sensor among multiple external devices through the communication interface; identifies the user's location in a place on the basis of the location of the external device and the received sensing data; acquires the user's life pattern information on the basis of the identified user's location; and identifies a recommended location of an air cleaner in a place on the basis of the obtained user's life pattern information.
