Abstract:
According to various embodiments, an electronic device may include: a geomagnetic sensor; a communication module; and at least one processor operatively connected to the geomagnetic sensor and the communication module, wherein the at least one processor may be configured to: identify whether there is a magnetic signal detected through the geomagnetic sensor; based on the magnitude of the detected magnetic signal, identify whether the detected magnetic signal is a magnetic signal generated according to coupling to a cover device; and correct sensor data of the geomagnetic sensor, in response to the case in which the magnitude of the detected magnetic signal indicates a magnetic signal generated according to coupling to the cover device. In addition, various embodiments may be provided.
