An electronic device according to one embodiment disclosed in the present document comprises: a communication circuit that receives, from a server, information indicating whether an evaluation for issuing a certificate for an electric vehicle battery is possible; a processor that selects a preparation screen to be displayed on the basis of the information from among a first preparation screen and a second preparation screen; and a display that displays the selected preparation screen.
