Abstract:
According to various embodiments, an electronic device comprises: at least one communication processor that outputs one or more baseband signals associated with one or more physical channels, respectively; an RFIC that outputs one or more RF signals generated on the basis of the one or more baseband signals; a power amplifier that amplifies and outputs the one or more RF signals; and at least one modulator configured to, in a first mode, provide the power amplifier with a supply voltage set at intervals of a first duration or, in second mode, provide the power amplifier with a supply voltage set at intervals shorter than the first duration. The at least one communication processor may be configured to: control the at least one modulator to provide the supply voltage to the power amplifier according to the second mode; and control the at least one modulator to change from the second mode to the first mode when the degree of change in voltage associated with a first element for providing the supply voltage is determined to be greater than or equal to a threshold, or the voltage associated with the first element is determined to be greater than a first threshold voltage or less than a second threshold voltage, while the supply voltage is being provided to the power amplifier according to the second mode. Various other embodiments are possible.
