Abstract:
Disclosed are an electronic device which charges a battery by controlling a plurality of ports, and an operation method therefor. The disclosed electronic device may comprise a plurality of ports, a battery, a memory, and a processor. The battery may store power received from an external power source connected through at least one of the plurality of ports. The memory may record a database. The processor may determine whether there are two or more ports connected to external power sources among the plurality of ports. The processor may determine the priority of two or more ports connected to external power sources on the basis of the database. The processor may control the two or more ports such that the battery is charged through the port with the highest priority on the basis of the priority.
