Abstract:

According to various embodiments, an electronic device may comprise: multiple coils; multiple power conversion circuits, each of which is configured to receive direct current power, convert the received direct current power into alternating current power, and output the converted alternating current power to each of the multiple coils; multiple demodulation switches, each of which is configured so that a demodulation path corresponding to each of the multiple coils is selectively connected to a ground; and a processor, wherein the processor is configured to: select at least one coil from among the multiple coils; control an on/off state of each of the multiple demodulation switches so that a demodulation path corresponding to at least one coil remaining after excluding the at least one selected coil from among the multiple coils is connected to the ground, and a demodulation path corresponding to the at least one selected coil is not connected to the ground; supply the alternating current power to the at least one selected coil; demodulate a signal of the at least one selected coil; and identify information from an external electronic device disposed to correspond to the at least one selected coil, on the basis of a result of the demodulation. Various other embodiments are possible.
