Abstract:
A foldable electronic device having first and second cases pivotally connected by means of a bearing, wherein the device automatically opens up to a predetermined degree and for further opening, it can be manually opened. The electronic device has first and second cases (1, 2) turnably connected (pivotally connected) by means of a bearing (3). Attached to the bearing is an opening/closing device (4) that, when a push-button (49) is pressed, automatically opens the first and second cases (1, 2) up to a predetermined degree. The opening/closing device (4) is provided with a mechanism that opens them up to a greater degree beyond the predetermined degree of opening, thereby allowing the first and second cases (1, 2) to be manually opened up to a great degree.
