Abstract:
This electronic device (10) is provided with: a nonvolatile memory (17) that supports at least a first readout speed and a second readout speed higher than the first readout speed, and that stores a boot program; and a memory controller (18) in which the first readout speed is initially set. The boot program includes an initial load program to be initially read out and loaded by the memory controller, and a subsequent load program to be, subsequently to the initial load program, read out and loaded by the memory controller. By executing the loaded initial load program, the electronic device (10) functions as a readout speed setting unit (25) that sets the readout speed of the memory controller (18) to the second readout speed.
