Abstract:
This electronic device comprises: an antenna module for communication using a predetermined communication frequency; and a housing that has a predetermined surface and a recess provided in the predetermined surface. The antenna module is contained in the recess in such a manner that the surface direction of an antenna surface of the antenna module coincides with the surface direction of the predetermined surface. The predetermined surface includes a first area and a second area that are opposed to each other with respect to the recess in the width direction of the antenna surface. The housing has, in the first area, a protrusion having a conductivity. The front end of the protrusion protrudes relative to the antenna surface in the surface direction of the antenna surface. The second area does not protrude relative to the antenna surface in the surface direction of the antenna surface.
