Abstract:
This electronic device includes a heat-receiving block, a heat transfer member, a plurality of fins, and a cover (30). The cover (30) includes a side wall portion (31) extending in a circumferential direction with respect to the normal of a second main surface of the heat-receiving block, and a lid portion (32) attached to the side wall portion (31) at a position where the heat transfer member is sandwiched between the heat-receiving block and the lid portion (32). In the cover (30), the heat transfer member and the plurality of fins are housed in a space surrounded by the side wall portion (31) and the lid portion (32). In the cover (30), a ventilation hole (31a) is formed in at least an outer surface of the side wall portion (31) that intersects with a direction of travel of a vehicle, and the ratio of the opening area of the ventilation hole (31a) to the area of the outer surface of the side wall portion (31) is greater than the ratio of the opening area of a ventilation hole (32a) to the area of an outer surface of the lid portion (32).
