Abstract:
An electronic device according to the present disclosure is provided with: a display unit that includes a panel having a first main surface, a second main surface on the reverse side from the first main surface, and an outer peripheral edge part connecting the first main surface and the second main surface; a first housing that houses the display unit; a second housing that houses an input part; and a hinge part that rotatably connects the first housing and the second housing. The first housing includes a first frame member that encloses the outer peripheral edge part of the panel, and a second frame member that extends from the first frame member along the second main surface of the panel and is disposed in a frame shape on the second main surface side of the panel. The first frame member has a cutout that exposes the outer peripheral edge part of the panel and the second frame member at the location where the hinge part is disposed. The portion of the second frame member exposed from the cutout has a protrusion end that protrudes toward the cutout further than the outer peripheral edge part of the panel.
