Description:
DESCRIPTION

ELECTRONIC IDENTIFICATION FOR TOILET CONSUMABLES

This invention is related to electronic identification for toilet consumables, which ensures following and controlling parameters such as safe and agreed product use, length, dosage, consumption, frequency and quantity of use in devices such as paper towel dispensers, toilet paper server, automatic soap dispenser, air-fresheners etc., which are used especially in public toilets. Consumables such as paper towel, toilet paper, liquid soap, foam, Odour, hygienic toilet seat cover are used in the toilets of the places such as shopping centres, restaurants, schools and sports halls. These consumables are generally delivered to the user by means of a server. In public toilets, there are devices like paper towel dispensers, toilet paper servers, automatic soap dispenser, air freshener, toilet seat cover machine, which provide abovementioned consumables to the user. These devices are activated by the user by means of a sensor, button, switch, lever etc. and provide relevant consumable automatically.

It is essentially required that the consumables used in such devices are suitable for human health. Therefore it is very important to inspect use of hygienic product use. Furthermore, using consumable compatible to the server devices ensures proper operation and long service life for the device. Business undertakings intend to follow factors such as the quantity of use, length, dosage, using frequency, agreed product of each consumable for both rendering a better service and controlling the expenditures. These follow-up activities are carried out by staff. However, as a matter of fact, follow up activities carried out by staff are not in desired level of efficiency in most cases. In the known technique, there is not any system, which provides continuous and reliable control for toilet consumables and server devices. Therefore, the use of consumables, which are not hygienic and not compatible with the server device, in public toilets cannot be prevented. This constitutes negativity in terms of user health, satisfaction and service life of the server device. Furthermore, in the known applications, it becomes difficult for the business to keep frequency of use of the server devices, compatibility of the consumables, their consumption, stock status and quantities under control. The invention,which is related to electronic identification for toilet consumables, which ensures following and controlling parameters such as safe and agreed product use, length, dosage, consumption, frequency and quantity of use in devices such as paper towel dispensers, toilet paper server, automatic soap dispenser, air-fresheners etc., which are used especially in public toilets, fully eliminates the disadvantages mentioned above and its feature is that, it controls safe, hygienic and agreed product compatible with the device and does not allow running with products without product introduction card or different products with the electronic reader controller inside the device and product introduction card from the consumable package, allows following parameters such as stock status, length, dosage and quantity of the consumables, ensures continuous and reliable control and is easy to use and fast.

The invention is used in devices such as paper towel . dispensers, toilet paper servers, automatic soap dispenser, air freshener, toilet seat cover machines located in the toilets. The invention brings electronic identification and control feature for consumables such as paper towel, toilet paper, toilet cover rolls, air freshener casing, soap cartridges of these devices. Thus, the devices operate with correct, reliable, safe and compatible consumables.

Electronic identification is performed with secure data transmission systems such as RFID (Radio Frequency Identification), NFC( Near Field Communication), barcode and chip. Chips, barcodes, labels and introduction card containing information related to the product are located on the consumable package. When the consumables are inserted to the device, introduction cards are scanned and introduced to the electronic controller on the device. Controller recognizing the consumable, allows inserting the product to the device and its operation. The device does not run without scanning the product introduction card or when a different product is scanned.

Product introduction card contains product tag and information such as length, dosage or quantity depending on the product specifications. When the introduction card is scanned to the controller on the device, all information related to the consumable is transferred to it. Product quantity transferred to the device and comparing the frequency of use determined is beneficial for the company for service and cost assessments. Furthermore the introduction card contains units that are equal to the number of products in the package. Thus, the card obtained from each package, can only be used for the products in that package and then loses its function.

The invention ensures hygienic, reliable and harmonised operation of the server devices located in the toilets, with the anticipated consumable.

This invention is explained in detail, through sampling, in the drawings attached, these drawings are;

The invention, which is related to electronic identification for toilet consumables, which ensures following and controlling parameters such as safe and agreed product use, length, dosage, consumption, frequency and quantity of use in devices such as paper towel dispensers, toilet paper server, automatic soap dispenser, air-fresheners etc., which are used especially in public toilets, is generally composed of a product introduction card (2) such as a label, chip, barcode, card etc, inside the consumable (4) package, unit information that is equal to the number of consumables (4) indicated on the tag, quantity and package of the consumable (4) in the product introduction card (2) , an electronic controller (1), which transfers information related to the consumable (4), to the device (3), when the product introduction card(2) is scanned. The invention is used as follows:

There is a product introduction card (2) such as a label, chip, barcode, card etc, inside the consumable (4) packages. Product introduction card (2) contains information such as the tag, quantity of the consumable (4). Furthermore, there are number of units on the product introduction card (2), which are equal to the number of consumables (4) in the package (For example: number of toilet paper rolls)

There is an electronic controller (1) on the server device (3). Product introduction card (2) extracted from the consumable (4) package is scanned to the electronic controller (1) on the device (3). Electronic controller (1) detects the quality of the consumable (4) by reading the information on the product introduction card (2). If tag and qualities of the consumable (4) conforms to the criteria anticipated before, the electronic controller (1) allows operation of the device (3) with that consumable (4). When a consumable (4) is inserted without scanning the product introduction card (2) or a wrong product introduction card (2) is scanned, the controller (1) does not allow operation of the device (3). For each consumable (4) in the package inserted to the device (3), product introduction card (2) is scanned to the controller (1) each time. When the card (2) is scanned by the controller (1), one unit decreases from the card (2) with the consumables (4) in the package. Thus, when the units are over, product introduction card (2) loses its function. Therefore it is prevented that the product introduction card (2) is used for another consumable (4).

Product introduction card (2) transfers parameters such as length, dosage, quantity, number of products, depending on the consumable (4) to the controller (1) and consequently to the device (3). Electronic controller (1), detects quantity and frequency of use during operation of the device (3). Thus, the amount of consumables (4) in the device (3) can be monitored. Therefore the business can adjusts replacement periods of the consumables (4) in the device (3).
