Abstract:
This electronic key is provided with: a mechanical key; a case (10) for housing the mechanical key; and a restraint member (31) which is disposed on the case (10) so as to restrain the mechanical key from falling off the case (10), wherein: the mechanical key is provided with an engagement flat surface (214) which is a flat surface perpendicular to the axial direction of a bar-like section in a state in which the mechanical key is being locked by the restraint member (31) so as to be restrained from falling off the case (10); the restraint member (31) is provided with a first engagement flat surface (3142) and a second engagement flat surface (3143) both of which are disposed perpendicular to the axial direction of the bar-like section of the mechanical key so as to engage with the engagement flat surface (214); and the first engagement flat surface (3142) and the second engagement flat surface (3143) are formed in a stepped flat-surface structure in which the first and second engagement flat surfaces are disposed at mutually different positions in the axial direction of the bar-like section of the mechanical key.
