An electronic gas lighter having a lock device includes a fuel container (13) and a piezoelectric portion (15) located on both sides of the fuel container, a fuel emission portion (16) in which the piezoelectric portion (I5) includes a button (8) and a piezoelectric block (11). The fuel emission portion (16) includes an actuating lever (2) and a fuel valve (3). There is a slot (9) on the button (8) and on one end of which there is a arc through slot (92). The swing button (7) is fixed in the slap (9). The swing button (7) has a long arm which can turn around the through slot (92). The piezoelectric block (11) has a bulger (111). When the swing button (7) is in the secure position, the long arm (72) is located on the bulger (111), so the swing button can not move downward. The invention adds a swing button to the button (8), and the two parts cooperate with each other. If the swing button does not be pushed down, the piezoelectric block can not produce sparks, and at the same time the emission portion can not release the flammability gases to prevent the leak and from producing sparks by pushing button. All of these increase the security of the lighter and prevent mistake handle.
