Abstract:
An electronic shelf label according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a display for displaying information to a user by using one or more virtual cells; a detection module for obtaining external environment information; and a controller for controlling information to be displayed on the one or more virtual cells, on the basis of the external environment information obtained through the detection module. When the electronic shelf label according to the present invention is used, the information displayed on the one or more virtual cells may be controlled according to the external environment information obtained through the detection module, and thus, more diverse information may be displayed to the user.
