An electronic temperature-sensing rod (2) insertedly connected to a pot body (1) that is provided with a heater (11). The electronic temperature-sensing rod comprises a housing (21), a circuit board (22) that is provided within the housing and is electrically connected to the heater, and a probe (25) that is connected to the housing and detects the temperature of the pot body. The probe is provided therein with a temperature sensor (23) that is electrically connected to the circuit board. The probe is also provided with a thermal circuit breaker (24) that is electrically connected to the circuit board and automatically interrupts a power supply of the heater when the temperature of the pot body exceeds a predetermined value. When the temperature sensor is faulty and cannot accurately detect temperature, and if the temperature of the pot body is higher than the predetermined temperature while the temperature detected by the temperature sensor is lower than the predetermined temperature, the thermal circuit breaker that is electrically connected to the circuit board interrupts the power supply of the heater, thus preventing a safety incident that would be caused by the heater working continuously in a high power state.
