Title:
ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PHOTORECEPTOR, ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PHOTORECEPTOR CARTRIDGE, IMAGE FORMATION DEVICE, COATING LIQUID FOR FORMING ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PHOTORECEPTOR PROTECTIVE LAYER, AND COMPOUND
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/127783
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention provides a novel compound which has electron transport properties and sufficient solubility with respect to organic solvents. The present invention also provides a novel electrophotographic photoreceptor which makes it possible to achieve good electric properties, particularly residual potential properties and potential holding rate, even when a compound having an electron transport structure is contained in a protective layer. Provided is a compound represented by formula (1). Also provided is an electrophotographic photoreceptor comprising at least a photosensitive layer and a protective layer, in this order, on a conductive support, wherein the protective layer contains an electron transport compound represented by formula (1). (In formula (1), X represents an electron transport skeleton. R1 and R2 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group which may have a substituent, an alkoxy group which may have a substituent, an aryloxy group which may have a substituent, a heteroaryloxy group which may have a substituent, an alkoxy carbonyl group which may have a substituent, a dialkylamino group which may have a substituent, a diarylamino group which may have a substituent, an arylalkylamino group which may have a substituent, an acyl group which may have a substituent, a haloalkyl group which may have a substituent, an alkylthio group which may have a substituent, an arylthio group which may have a substituent, a silyl group which may have a substituent, a siloxy group which may have a substituent, an aromatic hydrocarbon group which may have a substituent, or an aromatic heterocyclic group which may have a substituent. L1 represents a divalent group. Z1 represents amide group (-NHCO-R'), an acrylamide group, a methacrylamide group, an acryloyl group, or a methacryloyl group; Z1 represents an amide group, an acrylamide group, or a methacrylamide group when a is 1; and at least one thereof represents an amide group, an acrylamide group, or a methacrylamide group when a is an integer of 2 or greater. R' represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group which may have a substituent, an aralkyl group which may have a substituent, or an aromatic group which may have a substituent. a represents an integer of 1 or greater. When a is an integer or 2 or greater, R1, R2, L1, and Z1 in each repeating structure may be identical or different.
