Abstract:
An electrophotographic photoreceptor (1) is provided with a conductive substrate (2) and a photosensitive layer (3). The photosensitive layer (3) is a single-layer photosensitive layer containing at least a charge-generating agent, an electron transport agent, a hole transport agent, and a binder resin. The electron transport agent includes a naphthoquinone derivative represented by general formula (1). The triboelectric charge quantity of calcium carbonate when the photosensitive layer (3) and calcium carbonate are made to come into frictional contact is at least +7 μC/g. In general formula (1), R11 and R12 are respectively synonymous with R11 and R12 described in the specification, and at least one of R11 and R12 is substituted with a halogen atom.
