Abstract:

An electrostatic atomizing device is provided with: a discharge unit (2) formed so as to be able to hold a liquid; an application unit (3) for applying voltage to the discharge unit (2); and a control unit (4) for setting the voltage applied by the application unit (3) to a prescribed voltage for generating a prescribed amount of charged particulate water. The control unit (4) is configured to carry out control so as to set the voltage applied by the application unit (3) to a prescribed voltage lower than the prescribed voltage when the device is started and then switch to the prescribed voltage. With the present device, it is possible to provide an electrostatic atomizing device wherein the time required to the start of the electrostatic atomization phenomenon can be reduced.
