Abstract:
The present invention provides a new electrostatic printing technique replacing conventional electrostatic screen printing techniques. An electrostatic printing device makes powder attach to an object by electrostatic force. The electrostatic printing device comprises: an electrode (2) disposed above the object (1); a screen (3) disposed between the electrode (2) and the object (1); a rubbing member (4) for charging powder (10) on the screen (3); and a voltage applying device (DC) for applying voltage between the electrode (2) and the object (1) and forming an electrostatic field therebetween. In the electrostatic printing device, the screen (3) is formed of an insulating material.
