In the description of the Polish patent application no P 336521 there is an element of equipment in the interior of a car in the form of a head-rest, which consists of the body made of a foamed plastic permanently connected with the framework. From the side of the user' head there is a covering layer attached to the body. Inside the body there is an auxiliary toroidal element whose section resembles the shape of the letter'V'. Its edge corresponding to the top rests on the framework, while the edges corresponding to the ends of arms circumferentially contact the internal side of the covering layer near the edge of its outer outline and the hole. The covering layer is permanently connected with the body through the bonding with foamed plastic during the process of polymerization.

The essence of the invention is the development of an element of equipment in the interior of a car with a covering layer, which is made up of a body with an auxiliary flexible element placed inside the body between the covering layer and the framework of. the body. The outline of the auxiliary element corresponds to the outline of the covering layer. The section of the auxiliary element is adjusted to the shape of the covering layer in the following way: the auxiliary element contacts superficially the internal side of the covering layer and where it does not contact the covering layer it rests on the framework of the body.

If the covering layer has the form of a fragment of surface with a hole in the middle, then the auxiliary element has the form of a ring which contacts the internal side of the covering layer.

The subject of the invention has been closely explained in the example of constructing the device where fig. 1 shows the view of the head-rest, fig. 2-section of the head-rest along the A-A line, and fig. 3-the detail S from the fig. 2.

According to the invention the element of equipment in the interior of a car in the form of a head-rest is made up of the body 1 which is made of a foamed plastic. The surface of the plastic features closed pores and is smooth or has a specified surface quality. The framework 2 is permanently connected with the body 1. From the side of the user's head a fragment of the surface of the head-rest has the covering layer 4 which from the internal side contacts the flexible auxiliary element 3. The outline of the auxiliary element 3 corresponds to the outline of the covering layer 4 and is more or less similar to a ring. The part of the auxiliary element 3 which does not contact the covering layer 4 rests on the framework 2. The auxiliary element 3 and the covering layer 4 adherent to it are connected with the body 1 during the process of polymerisation of foamed plastic, of which the body 1 is made.
