Abstract:
Disclosed is a light source apparatus which comprises a plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs) disposed at intervals from one another. Light from each LED irradiates the interior of a car, and an illumination cover is disposed on an inner side of the car relative to the LEDs. The light from each LED to the interior of the car is scattered by the illumination cover. Each LED has directivity such that relative brightness with respect to brightness on an optical path is greater than or equal to 80% within a region in which an angle with respect to an optical axis is smaller than or equal to 20 degrees. A relationship between pitch X (mm), which is between each of the LEDs, and a distance Y (mm), which is between each LED and the illumination cover, satisfies a relationship of Y ≥ 0.9X + 9.
