Abstract:
An elevator device is configured in such a manner that a joint plate (23) is made to overlap both the lower end of a first rail member (21) and the upper end of a second rail member (22). The joint plate (23) is connected to the first and second rail members (21, 22) by connectors (24). The portion of the joint plate (23) which is made to overlap the first rail member (21) and the portion of the joint plate (23) which is made to overlap the second rail member (22) are each provided with joint plate pin holes (26). The first and second rail members (21, 22) are provided with rail member pin holes (27) respectively continuing to the joint plate pin holes (26). Pins (25) are inserted in the joint plate pin holes (26) so as to extend through the joint plate pin holes (26) and through the rail member pin holes (27).
