Abstract:
An elevator device, wherein a pit (1a) is provided at the bottom part of a hoistway (1), a car (5) is moved up and down, inside the hoistway (1), by a drive device (8) through a main cable (14), a storage space (7) adjacent to the pit (1a) is provided under the floor of a platform (6) on the lowermost story, and the drive device (8) is disposed in the storage space (7).
