Abstract:
In an elevator device, a drive device is placed in a hoistway. An elevator car is moved up and down in the hoistway by the drive device. A ventilation duct is provided in the hoistway. The ventilation duct has an upper air-inlet/outlet positioned in the hoistway, above a landing doorway of the uppermost floor, and also has a lower air-inlet/outlet positioned in the hoistway, below the upper air-inlet/outlet.
