Abstract:
In an elevator device, a machine platform that supports a winch and a counterweight-side hitch member is anchored at the upper parts of counterweight guide rails. First and second lateral beams are positioned in the upper part of an elevator shaft. Viewed from directly above, the first and second lateral beams are positioned at either side of the elevator car, and are anchored above either the machine platform or the counterweight guide rails and atop the elevator car guide rails. Stress of first and second suspension means, which acts on first and second elevator car-side hitch members, is supported by the first and second lateral beams.
