Abstract:
This elevator device is equipped with a converter (2), an inverter (4), direct-current buses (5), a power storage device (10), a first overcharge detection means, and a power supply control means (24). The direct-current buses (5) are connected between the converter (2) and the inverter (4). The power storage device (10) is connected between the direct-current buses (5). Also, the power storage device (10) stores direct-current power from the direct-current buses (5) by means of multiple cells (19). The first overcharge detection means detects if at least one cell (19) among the multiple cells (19) is in an overcharged state. The power supply (23) supplies the first overcharge detection means with the power necessary for the first overcharge detection means to carry out the overcharge detection. The power supply control means (24) stops the supplying of the power from the power supply (23) to the first overcharge detection means when there is no need for the first overcharge detection means to carry out the overcharge detection.
