Abstract:
An elevator device, wherein when the acceleration of the elevator car reaches an abnormal acceleration setting value, an emergency stop device is operated using a force generated in a mass including a sheave and a rope. The sheave includes a tension pulley capable of moving vertically in order to apply tension to the rope. A vertical vibration suppression device connected to the tension pulley suppresses the vertical vibration of the tension pulley when the acceleration of the elevator car reaches the abnormal acceleration setting value while allowing the vertical displacement of the tension pulley during normal operation.
