Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an elevator device that can reduce work time when modifying an existing hoisting machine to a new installation hoisting machine without removing the existing hoisting machine, a mounting frame, or an anchoring member. In order to achieve this purpose, an elevator device comprises: any of an existing hoisting machine, a mounting frame that holds the existing hoisting machine, or a first anchoring means that anchors the existing hoisting machine in an elevator shaft by resisting a load that is biased in the vertical direction by way of a cable wound about a sheave of the existing hoisting machine before modification; and a second anchoring means that anchors the new installation hoisting machine to the existing hoisting machine or the mounting frame by resisting a load that is biased in the vertical direction by way of a rope wound about a sheave of the new installation hoisting machine; wherein any of the existing hoisting machine, the mounting frame, or the first anchoring means remain in the elevator shaft after modification, and one side of the second anchoring means is anchored to one of the existing hoisting machine, the mounting frame, or the first anchoring means that remains in the elevator shaft, and the other side is anchored to the new installation hoisting machine.
