Abstract:
An elevator device, wherein a first lifting body is hung by a suspension body on one side of a drive sheave. In the present invention, a second lifting body is hung by a suspension body on the other side of the drive sheave. An emergency stop device according to the present invention is mounted to the first lifting body, and performs emergency stopping of the first lifting body when the descending speed of the first lifting body reaches an excessive speed. An energy consumption device is provided between the suspension body and the second lifting body. The energy consumption device consumes the energy of free fall after jumping of the second lifting body when the emergency stop device operates and emergency stopping of the first lifting body is performed.
