Abstract:
Elevator equipment, wherein a car having an upper beam and a ceiling part is suspended, in a hoistway, by a main rope wound on the drive sheave of a drive device, the car connection end part of the main rope is connected to the upper beam through a rope end connection device, and the upper beam is disposed so that the lower end part thereof is positioned on the lower side of the upper surface of the ceiling part.
