Abstract:
Provided is a management system with which the elevator usage efficiency is less likely to decrease. A reception unit (20) of the management system (16) receives, from a portable terminal (14) belonging to a user of an elevator (2), request information representing a request for the elevator (2) to be called. A registration unit (21) causes, on the basis of the request information received by the reception unit (20), the elevator (2) to register the call. An acquisition unit (22) acquires live weather information when the reception unit (20) receives the request information. The live weather information represents the current weather situation at the location at which the elevator (2) is provided. An assessment unit (23) assesses, on the basis of the live weather information acquired by the acquisition unit (22), whether equipment corresponding to the weather situation is required. An output unit (24) outputs the result of the assessment by the assessment unit (23) to the portable terminal (14) so that the portable terminal (14) notifies the user of the result of the assessment.
